Artwork requirements

The quality of your imprint depends upon the quality of artwork supplied to us!
It’s important that we receive the most accurate and high-resolution artwork in order to quickly produce a proof and a high-quality imprint for your product.

Our artwork requirements may vary across different imprint methods.
Please read the Additional Information provided on a specific item’s page for more details – such as the maximum imprint size.

NOTE: OUR DELIVERY SCHEDULE MAY DEPEND ON THE QUALITY OF THE ARTWORK SUBMITTED AND UPON ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE ARTWORK ONCE THE ORDER HAS BEEN WORKED ON.

Accepted formats

Artwork is accepted in the following formats:
– Adobe Illustrator (Any version)
– Adobe Photoshop (EPS, TIFF, JPEG, PDF)
* Files must be 600 DPI or higher at 100% of final size or larger.

Please note: Vector Art is preferred! It provides the best quality and allows images to be resized without loss of sharpness and detail.

ALL FONTS MUST BE CONVERTED TO OUTLINES, CURVES OR PATHS (VECTOR). IF SUPPLYING IMAGE FILES, FONTS NEED TO BE RASTERIZED.

Embroidery files: Wilcom files preferred. DST files accepted. For digitized files, save as Tajima format with color sequencing.

Compressed files: Please use the Zip format.

We do not accept Gif files, Word processing documents such as Microsoft Word/ Power Point, Photocopies, business cards, letterheads, fax transmissions, etc. These formats are too low of a quality to ensure a quality imprint.

Embroidery specific details

Unless otherwise specified on product page price includes up to 7 thread colors and 5,000 stitches for bags, golf towels and blankets, 7,000 stitches for caps. If design exceeds the included amount of stitches we will quote before proceeding with order.

Thread colors: We stock many standard Madeira thread colors. Add 0.35(G) per item for Metallic Gold & Silver, per 1,000 stitches.

Individual personalization: We offer individual personalization using a Standard Embroidery Block Font. The list of names to be embroidered must be sent over with your artwork or Purchase Order in a Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers document. If the list of names is provided in Plain Text or an unsupported file type, additional charges may be incurred.

Note: Names and initials not to exceed 1 in high and not smaller than .3 in high.

Sending artwork

Please send your artwork with your Purchase Order. Please include information regarding the placement of the logo on the product. Any additional artwork should be sent directly to questions@maffickpromo.com with your Purchase Order # and your company name.

Artwork may be submitted by e-mail or a file-sharing service such as Dropbox and Google Drive that provides a public link directly to the artwork file.

You must reply directly to the emailed virtual proof with any changes.

COPYRIGHT/ TRADEMARK LAWS

All copy or other materials submitted for production to Maffick Promo will be accepted as fully compliant with all applicable laws regarding trademark, service mark, copyright, right of privacy or patent. We may ask that you provide a release for any logos, taglines, etc. that we feel requires a more formal assent.
